Hi Brian and a big welcome to LibriVox! I have assigned that section to you but before you record it, please make and upload a 1 minute test to be sure your recording set up is OK. Instructions can be found in our Wiki and in the first post of this project but Here is a video that may help too: How to Make your 1 minute test.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlaRY_-bcfs and then How to Upload your 1 minute test How to Upload your 1 minute testbrianmarkweber wrote:Hello. (You may post the link to your test in this forum and I will see it much more quickly)
I also recommend Getting To Know our Forums Getting To Know Our Forums
We just want to check out your technical specs. Don't forget to post the link either in this thread or in Listeners WAnted forum. And how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us use our real name but it is up to you.
Again, I urge you to ask questions if anything is confusing (and there will be some confusing stuff, Ipromise!)
EDIT: Brian, there is a problem with your email, our system says it does not recognize itor something so I can't assign that section to you until this is resolved. But I have reserved it for you. !

Phil, thank you for the information. I am not sure why the system indicates a problem with my e-mail, since I am receiving e-mail updates from LibriVox; however, I will check on this.
Sincerely,
Brian

Brian, your recording is fine except for one thing: the bit rate is 120 variable and it needs to be 128 kbs. You have a great voice of course. Please changes it to 128kbs, make another test, call it test2 or something, upload it and paste the link here.brianmarkweber wrote:Thanks Phil. Here is my recording:

Would it be possible to claim the remaining chapters - XI, XII, XIII, XIV? This story is gripping!
