Section #3
this section is well read, but needs a few technical details seen to before it can be PL OK

1. You need 5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording. This is really easy in Audacity. Just open the file, put the cursor at the end of the file and select GENERATE> SILENCE and enter 5 seconds, click OK and you get your silence. You can use this silence to do the next step, NOISE REDUCTION.

2. I've copied the link for the articles on noise reduction, but here's a quick version

1. Open the file
2. Select 2-3 of your quietest seconds. In this case, it can be the silence at the end of the file
3. From the top menu, select EFFECTS>NOISE REDUCTION> GET NOISE PROFILE
4. Select the entire file(you can do this quickly by clicking on far left side of the file on and empty part of the box
5. Again go to EFFECTS>NOISE REDUCTION. Only this time select OK. You should get a quick green bar telling you that it is processing.

Then export the file again, saving the changes and upload file again. Thanks.

Thanks for tips on generate/silence. I will do so. I did do noise reduction but can do so again.

I watched the video on notch filtering. I could try that too if you think it might be useful.

Make sure you only do as much processing as is necessary. If you overdo it the quality might go down. Did you see our tutorials though? They might be helpful :)

Tutorials have been very helpful. I agree about too much processing. I have added the five seconds of silence and will post that recording soon. Thanks.
