To replace words it is easier to insert whole sentences or short paragraphs rather than the individual words. It's easier to match the flow.

Thanks, I'm already doing that but the insert still always ends up sounding different.

The one thing that helps me match up sound is really good headphones. I use Sennheiser HD 280 pro, but Sony 7506 are pretty good too.
