This is by far the longest chapter in this work; the rest of much shorter.

I grew up most of my childhood on Air Force bases in Tennessee and South Carolina; my mother was a Georgian. So I have lots of Southern blood and early experience, though I left the South when I was 18 to go to college.

After decades of living in the Midwest I've lost my NY accent. Do don't seem to sound very "southern."

Well, the Grand Canyon is still there -- and still grand. I even managed to get up one morning early enough to see the sunrise in the canyon. Truly as spectacular as everyone says.

Visiting Zion, Bryce and Red Rock in just over a week to do some serious hiking. I've been to the GC though and it is amazing.

Dave, I have been adding some treble to my files, thinking that made them a bit clearer. But now it seems to me that that is also emphasizing some clicks and other mouth sounds. So on this file I didn't do that. (Made it easier to edit, too.) What do you think? Does this file sound all right? Maybe too distractingly different from the previous ones? Appreciate your input.
