Section 22 is PL OK.
23, A Desperate Assault
5.25-5.35. Final paragraph, first sentence. Stumble and 'those' for 'these':
Boldly though they had taken and held that hill, prudence came to the Boer riflemen as these [heard as thos-as those] eager bayonets bore down upon them.

Hello Algy,
I have a couple of PL notes:
20, Australia's springtime
2.35-2.39. First line of last stanza.
...and the dazzled eye [heard eyes] may see
Wondrous dreams of future greatness
21, The man that saved the match
3.28-3.33. First line of a stanza roughly in the middle.
The bowler with [heard from] the break from leg sent down a hardish ball,
5.10-5.18. Penultimate line of antepenultimate stanza.
It was a single innings game, and plainly on the play [heard day]
It seemed the glory would be ours upon that Christmas Day.

Howdy Algy,
19 is PL OK.
I think we got our wires crossed somewhere. 17 is PL OK - I just spot checked it, and it's all fine and dandy. 18 has one PL note:

OK. Sorry about that. I've uploaded corrections.Newgatenovelist wrote:25, 27, 32, 33, 34, and 36 are all PL OK, and very well read.
I have a couple of notes for 31 and 35. I checked them against the scan on the Internet Archive, and it looks like they're the same as the PG text. I'm biased, but I think that's rather unfortunate. When you're reading in character you sometimes come up with versions that are every bit as good as, or even better than, the original!
31, Jim Bludso
2.01-2.05, first line of fifth stanza:
The fire bust [heard barst] out as she clared the bar,
35, Lariat Bill
1.25-1.29, third line of third stanza:
An' I give [heard gave] her full steam an' put her through,

John, that was tremendous. It's grey and cold and wet here, and you've given me a good laugh on a Monday morning.
All the remaining sections are PL OK. Thank you very much, gentlemen! I've enjoyed listening to you.
