About 3 and a half lines. My vote would be no - I think a listener may find it annoying if it has a section of it's own .

I agree.
Love gothic novels? Try Children Of The Abbey. Like surprising mysteries? Try The Amathist Cross. Looking for an easy read? Try Harriet's Choice.

Very nicely read. Thank you.
I have just a few technical issues for your attention:

In both files
the bit rate should be 128 kbps and the bit rate mode constant (not variable, as it is here). If you are using Audacity then you set these values when you export the file.

In the section 20 recording:
00:02 I heard "chapter 20" but expected "chapter 1" (20 is the section number)
00:25 I heard "chapter 20" but expected "chapter 1"
21:01 I heard "end of chapter 20" but expected "end of chapter 1"

In the section 21 recording:
00:00 I did not hear the required intro "Book (x) Chapter [number] of The World's Desire . This is a LibriVox recording..." etc.

Otherwise very well done! Thank you.

Hay! Thanks for the chapters )smile(. I am glad you are loving this story. Would you like to take the rest of the unclaimed sections? There are only six, not many, and not very long.
Stav.

Sure! (part of my problem with the into in the chapter 2 was that I was so anxious to find out what was happening in the story I blazed ahead....too invovled!)

Is it 0- preface, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 28?

Thanks/Annyiee

There is no 28, it is a part of 27 because it has only three and a half lines. But yes, all the sections marked so in the magic window. Now they are all yours. Have a lot of fun.

Anne, would you be able to delete section 28 from the mw so that it wouldn't confuse us?

Section 22 is PL OK!

Section 23 has one item for your attention:
01:35 to 01:42 the phrase "they shall fall and thou shalt spoil them" is repeated.

Here is the correction, (removed repeat!)

https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/worldsdesire_23_haggard_128kb.mp3

When I read the preface should I read contents and the dedication also? My first preface, hope to get it right!

Section 23 is PL OK!

The preface question is not my call, but if I were reading it I would read only the preface and not the table of contents or dedication (in my experience tables of contents, dedications and publication info are not read). I would also not read the authors' initials (H.R.H.A.L) at the end of the preface. But it is really up to Anne or Stav to say.
