Hey - I knew the nasty-looking animal was someone friendly in disguise. I guess that makes me smarter than an alligator.

I confess to prior knowledge: Peetie has appeared in other books  and I read the story title.

Thanks for the chapter, Kathi.
Section 15 - "Uncle Wiggily and Kate-Did" - PL OK
You got some fun voices to work with, and a song as well. Cool!

A note for future recordings: your recording volume could be 2 or 2.5 dB higher - "Checker" reports your level is 86.7 dB; the LibriVox allowable range is 86-92 dB. Your recording is closer to the bottom of the range than the middle, but it's on the happy/legitimate side of the line, so all is well.

And chapter 19 is PL OK as well.

There are a lot of slices of pie eaten in this book. I approve.

Rich,
Thanks for pointing out the volume level. It passed the Checker but I regretted to pay attention to the number.

Regarding the song, as a singer-songwriter, I can't resist creating melodies and then singing them!

Hi and welcome to Librivox!
There are a few things to do before you get started.
Please wait until you get the OK on your test. It saves frustration in the long run.
You will also need to be added to the catalog of readers. I will add you using your forum name, but if you prefer your real name or a pseudonym let me know. We can also link to a personal blog or website. If you click on your name in the Magic Window, you will see your own personal catalog page.
Be sure to read the first post - all the info you need is there, but if anything doesn't make sense, just ask. The wiki (see the top of the page) has bundles of info too.
This is a great project for cutting your teeth. Enjoy!
Lynne
