Hi and welcome to Librivox!JVWL2000 wrote:here is section #4 https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/lawandmedicalmen_04_rogers_128kb.mp3
Thank you for your section. How long is it please, in mm:ss?
Please note that it is strongly recommend you claim a section before reading... Someone else may have claimed it while you were recording. (But you got away with it here).
I have added you to the catalog of readers under your forum name. If you prefer, I can change that to your real name or a pseudonym. Just click on your name in the Magic window and you will see your personal catalog page.
Section 4: Who May Practice
Welcome to LibriVox JVWL2000!
You have a wonderful voice but I can hear a lot of rustling and tapping noise in background. Also, the volume is varying throughout the recording. I have also noted a lot of stumbles and repeats in the recording, and I have listed them below as "Detailed PL Notes", for your aid. Please make the corrections and then re-upload the file.
As this is your first recording, I would suggest you to re-read the Newbie Guide to Recording and then do a 1-Minute Test to receive invaluable guidance and feedback from experienced LibriVoxers.
You can also refer to the Instructional Videos by Phil Chenevert, which I have personally found very helpful, and I would strongly recommend to any Newbie. Feel free to ask questions and post a new thread in Need Help if you are stuck.
Thanks for the recording, and may there be many more
Detailed PL Notes
