Hi and welcome to librivox!

You are welcome to read that section. To be able to sign you up, i need to know under which name or pseudonym you would like to appear in the catalog. We can also link to your personal website or blog.

I see you have already posted your test recording :thumbs: someone will give you feedback shortly. Thank you!

Thanks! I'll just read under my name - Cory Sampson.

Quick question: is there any particular accent the recording should be done in? I'm not sure what convention dictates.

Chapters 3 and 4 are PL OK!

Great job, especially with tongue twisting words like ineradicable!

I tried it in my natural accent; it sounded funny. Tried it in something closer to an RP accent, and that, I think, sounded better. Let me know if I need to tweak something; I'm still new at this. If the accent doesn't work for you, I can re-record.

Hi Carolin

Can I read Section 5 please? (I see that the text has this chapter called 'The German Shell' rather than 'The German Surgeon'). It'll make a change from reading about polar exploration!

Thanks :D

Section 2 PL notes

There are only a few small issues with Section 2;
there are almost 4 seconds of silence before the recording,
there is no, "end of chapter" and seven seconds of silence at the end of the recording.

The rest of the reading of the recording is excellent, great inflection of the characters voices!

I noticed in another project's magic window that the BC copied my PL notes into the MW.

Is that where the notes should go for PL or here as a post?

Thanks,
Margot
