It seems like we're in for stormy weather ...

So the 3rd typhoon in as many weeks looks like its going to hit Hong Kong; Harvey has been making front page news while millions are displaced in India.

We are dry, cool and windy here at the southern tip of Georgian Bay in Ontario.

Hurricane Irma just formed east of Puerto Rico; we're not looking forward to it after Harvey. :(

strangely ok weather in holland, though we had a very cold and rainy summer overall with minor flooding after strong rain here and there.

Lots of rain here in Central Texas, though no flooding that I know of. We were planning on having a memorial for a family member this weekend, but that was to be in Houston. Since that's canceled (or postponed; I'm really not sure which), we're heading out there today to volunteer to help with clean up.

Horribly windy night, hours and hours of it. All our houses still standing though.
