Plaidsicle,

I've looked at Ariel's PL Notes. Would be nice to have the changes, but maybe we could try it without. I think in the whole context of the play, we'll still be 95% correct.

As to your lines, you can check those as you edit them into the sections, and if something is missing, just fix it when spotted. 8-)

Let me know if you need help on the editing.

okay. that sounds like a plan.

in that case, we can move to Readers Found, and I'll finish this up as soon as I can.

editing has commenced-- the preface is pretty much set because it's just my part, and I have all the prologue together. just tightening it up now, and hopefully I will get to the other sections soon. I'm going to do my best to put all the reading credits in the "Masque Structure and Persons/Presences" section. that seems to make sense.

They do, I'd be happy to do that for you. It may take me a bit, I've got a few other sections in the queue, so if someone else stops by and wants to listen to them, please do.

Amelia,

Preface is PL OK.

I've also listened to the Masque structure. Two things:
- you need 5 seconds silence at the end
- it sounds odd when you read a role name and then the reader says the role name and then their own name. Maybe delete your reading of the role name when there is a duplicate? You should still read any role names that don't have a voice credit.

thank you MaryAnn--
I wondered what was best with the list of characters there. I can go delete my half of any duplicates.

Amelia,

The Prologue is PL OK.

I added a few seconds to the end (to make about 5).

I also ran it through post processing at Auphonics. I find that Auphonics helps on dramatic works to even out the volumes between the various readers. It's totally optional, but you get 2 hours of free processing at Auphonics per month, so my view is, why not use it on sections that have a lot of readers?

wonderful, thank you MaryAnn. I am working on smoothing out Act 1 and I fixed the Masque Structure section the other day. I think I may have uploaded it, too-- but we were having trouble with our internet the other day so I must not have saved the link to post here. can you easily tell if that section did make it into the uploader?

Amelia,
If you look here you can see everything in my uploader folder (or anyone elses, by changing the URL): http://uploads.librivox.org/maryannspiegel/

And it doesn't look like the new masque file made it to the uploader.

...omg...I completely managed to forget about the notes, again. I don't really have any excuse, other than the last 6 months have been extremely taxing. Do you still want it? I could get it fixed in a couple of minutes, though my setup has changed drastically since I recorded this.

hi Kristin!
I think we'll be fine without the fixes. but if you want to do edits for Act II you can. I haven't startes editing that together yet.

one thing it would be nice to have would be your "read by" line. that will be relatively easy to slot in to what I have already edited..and I think your credit is the only major character's missing from the Persons and Presences section.

Ariel act 2 is fixed and uploaded:) Added the 'read by' at the start and I re-did the whole line so that the difference in my set-up wouldn't be too obvious.
