Oliver, I put your file in Checker, and it recorded a background noise level of 49. This level needs to be less than 40 to pass. You may need to do some noise reduction, which you will find under Effect in Audacity. Note also that at the top of the Librivox Forums Page the Guides for Listeners, which will allow you to search for instructions on this and other matters. And, of course, be sure to check in Checker before submitting. You may need to download this program to run your entries through to see if they meet requirements. Jim

Hiya, welcome again.

I need you to concentrate on one project for a start so that you can learn how to contribute to librivox. It might be helpful if your parents help you out with getting set up. Which project would you like to start with, this one or barom trump? You might want to choose another project altogether with shorter sections which make it easier to get started.

At this point, please concentrate on the test recording. Make sure that your software is det up correctly. I notice that you have submitted a wav file while we need an mp3. Follow these instructions carefully and you should be fine http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Audacity_1-2-3
