Sketch 4 certainly wasn't cheery. :(

I hear one word change you may want to correct. It's no problem is you don't want to bother. Just let me know.
2:26 optional
I’d hate to hear a phonographic report of the things I say on a day like to-day.

Ah! Thank you, Linny. I can change that today, and send the file back in.

Sketch 4 corrected https://librivox.org/uploads/lezer/modernmonologues_04_cooke_128kb.mp3

Time 9:07

(The correction added one second to the recording. I also adjusted the timing of the clock chimes to fit that later section, with the added second.)

Hi! I recorded "The Very Young Person" from Sketch 7 today, and I accidentally also spoke all the stage directions within that monologue (looks at conductor, who interrupts her). I'm only signed up to read the monologue, not the stage directions, and I did not read the stage directions at the start of the Sketch.
Should I leave the stage directions that I recorded in the file, or simply delete them?
I'll do what ever you suggest.

If it's only part of them, yes, please delete them.

Sketch 7 Young Woman ready for PL https://librivox.org/uploads/lezer/modernmonologues_youngwoman_07.mp3

Time: 5:25

Note: The MW says "Young Woman", so I used that to name the file. But the book (and I am reading from the pdf link to the real book - not the google generated mess) says "The Very Young Person", so that is how I read the title of the role.
:D
Thanks!

I'd like to take all of Sketch 6, and all of Sketch 8, including Stage Directions. I love these monologues!

Thank you. I'm glad you are enjoying them.

Btw, I had adjusted the name in the MW so anyone claiming didn't think it was a child.
