Since we're near the end, I thought I ought to bring up the possibility of putting some sort of disclaimer with regards to the racism (or maybe creedism is a better descriptor) in the book. I know I've seen something like that in the description of another book I saw in the catalogue, but can't remember which one apart from the fact I haven't listened to it. I had actually read this book before, but had forgotten how bad it was. So I guess I'm mostly looking to see if there's an established way of doing that, or any good suggestions otherwise.

This book contains racial and other prejudices that were once commonplace. They are retained, as originally written in this recording, because to do otherwise would be to deny they existed.
I'm sure there are many excellent examples in the LV library.

That sounds great, much better than I could have put it! I'll put it on the end of the description, and if kathrinee has got anything to add, I expect she will when the recording is finished. I might see if I can find anything in the catalogue in the meantime, but I expect it will take a little ingenuity to find. (Was going to write enginuity, but apparently that's just the name of a museum.)
