Craigos wrote:Lovely reading again. The only thing I picked up was -
0:51 > You say "Come on then, and give't in mine ears." text reads "and give't me in mine ear."
again I don't think it is significant or changes in any way the meaning.
hm I guess you are right, we can let this one pass :) I would probably get a knot in my tongue trying to say this sentence.

Thanks for the PL.

With your narrator I thought I hear "A" instead of "The" Winter Tale, but my ears may be mistaken.

For the Dramatis Personae, I inserted my two voice credits and re-uploaded with the correct file name, here it is:

https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/winterstale_0_shakespeare_128kb.mp3

So by and by when the roles come in, you can paste the credits in the correct slot. You can start by putting in yours as well ;)

Guys make sure you read the entire credits the way the roles are written in the DP in the text !!!

What is still needed is the end disclaimer: "End of Dramatis Personae"

Hermione Act 3. She had a lot of Monologues in this one. Would be an idea for Shakespeare monologues. I loved her grandeur though. I'm not sure I managed to convey an accurate "fainting" sound at the end though. Feel free to discard it if it sounds too risible LOL I actually only fainted once in my life and I seriously can't remember whether I made a sound there. :?

and here is also Act 5 for Hermione, quite a short ending. :) This concludes my first bigger female role :9:

enough Winter Tale for today

I also fiddled a bit with the MW to put the completed Acts to their respective places. :)

Your fainting is excellent!!

The only thing I think you may want to check is:-

1:31 > "How was I in your grace" text reads "How I was in your grace"
I think the latter is a statement but the reading is more of a question.

Otherwise all sounds great.

ok, good point, I will change that ! Thanks for your accurate checking  Seriously when I read these lines I think I have them right and then Shakespeare always manages to turn some words around, to make me trip up.

all right I changed the one line "how I was in your grace" and nothing else. I think one doesn't notice a volume change :)

today is Perdita day :) I started with Act 5 as she has not much to say there. Need to train my "teenager voice". Not sure I'm doing a good job LOL She sounds younger and quite naive I think, but maybe that's a good think. At least is different from Hermione (I checked)

now I need to get Act 4 in, which is a lot more work, but I am determined to do it today

Perdita act 5 is PL OK

I'm off to a 'mountainous country with a cave' for a week, so not sure if I am going to be able to help much for the next 10 days.

Cheers

My apologies for intruding with a comment in a project in which I have no part. As a great admirer of Shakespeare, I was disappointed to find this project was already full--as I was a few weeks back when I saw that a reading of Cymbeline was also full. I usually look for new play projects, but not only did I somehow miss these ones, I found them too late to participate.
Basically, I'm wondering if any more are planned, in the hopes that I can get in on the next one. Thank you.
