After my role as 'conductor' of another project's music fell through as the book wasn't in the public domain in Europe, I wanted to start a book with music myself. I remember coming across this one a while ago and finding it interesting. However, before I start it, I want to make sure it's legal this time. Unfortunately, I can't find anything on either of the authors, so I have no idea if this one's in the Public Domain in Europe either.

Can anyone help?

Jordan,

I think Edith Lang could be this person:
Edith Lang

Lang, Edith May. Studied in Germany. Organ recitalist in Boston, Massachusetts; cinema organist in Boston, Massachusetts. b. Bainbridge, Ohio, U.S.A., Nov. 13th, 1885; d. Boston, Massachusetts, July 7th, 1969.

There's also a reference to Edith Lang (with no death date) here: https://books.google.com/books?id=oFghAQAAIAAJ&pg=PA125&lpg=PA125&dq=edith+lang+composer&source=bl&ots=vo9qJ24Va0&sig=pewaEw7k6-z4cMervjClfmDw7Rc&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwifj7mb1svVAhVF_IMKHdJYBP4Q6AEISTAI#v=onepage&q=edith%20lang%20composer&f=false

Pity - it would have been fun. There was still one theatre in Melbourne that the organist came up out of the floor with his organ and played when I was a child and I loved it. Loved all the decor too.
Just another author who lived too long , I'm sure the estate make no money out of it nowadays and she could be rescued from oblivion.
