OK, I think everything is changed over.
Linny's post is a good one; I suggest using the text she prepared. It's easier than the Gutenberg full text link.
Regarding the PL level: your choice! I wouldn't go with word-perfect myself; I'd probably make it what I consider my personal standard: Special: standard, plus any possible deviations from the text that make the listener go, "Huh?" PL does not have to follow along with the text.
Regarding the PL notes: (1) Probably take a quick listen to the end of section 0 and see if it has any sort of "end of file" audio. If it doesn't, it should be added. (2) In the Introduction, section 1, I took a quick look at the text and didn't see a footnote, but feel free to listen to it (I guess the footnote is around 15:30) and see if you think it should stay or go. Your choice.
I think that's all I have to say for now. Holler if you have questions...

Okay, I'm pretty much ready to go except.... does anybody know the divisions for the 10 sections? like from what page to what page or what line to what line? I can "wing it", I suppose and try to divide it up and delete the sections that I don't end up using or add more sections. I'd like each section to be about 10-15 minutes long.
I'll check the edits for the 2 parts that are done also.
& yes, I like "special" as the proof-reading guide.
Thanks!!
Scarlett

You'll have to "wing it" since the original soloist didn't say what her divisions were.
I'll change the PL type!

I just started over since I can't make corrections to the previous file and it will help me understand the rest if I start from the beginning.
I don't know how to change the assigned reader in the magic window so I just left the name, but the file should be new and reading for PL.
Hopefully this rolls along now.
Thanks!
Scarlett

Did you redo the editor's note, too?
Did you combine the editor's note and intro?

I redid the editor's note already.
Next I'll be redoing the introduction. I haven't done that yet, but I plan on it soon.
Thanks

So you're not using any of the original files?
Okay, I'll rearrange stuff and send the old files back to the Abandoned folder...

No DPL yet, but now that you have a few files up, we can advertise for one. I'll put a post over in Listeners & Editors Wanted.
