The Red Cross Girls with the Italian Army by Margaret Vandercook (1877 - 1958).

This novel is the 5th of 10 books in this particular series written by Margaret Vandercook. (Debbie R. Baker Robinson)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://archive.org/stream/redcrossgirlswit00vand#page/7/mode/1up
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Kathrine, at your convenience, please set up the MW for this project. I will be returning 7/9 so there is no rush.

Thanks so much.

There are actually 10 novels in this Red Cross series. Tracking them down is becoming quite a challenge.

Setting up right now... :)

ETA:
OK, we're cooking with gas!

I shortened the filenames for this project. If you'd like to insert "girls" in there to make it redcrossgirlsitalianarmy or something, that is completely fine with me (I just like the filenames short and sweet when I record).

You don't have to fill in ID3 tags, they are filled automatically when I put this project in the catalog after you finish :)

I'll move us over to Going Solo later today. Please holler if I forgot something, or I can do something to help!
Kathrine

~~ Thanks for your patience! Please feel free to send me a PM if you feel that I'm neglecting you ~~

Great, Debbie! I may not have much time to listen for the next week or so, although I may surprise myself. Just keep recording, and I'll get to it as soon as I can.

Hi, long time no contact. Don't worry about rushing through the pl. i'm finishing up some other stuff so This project won't be in full speed for a couple more weeks. I did receive and read through "The British Trenches" a couple of weeks ago. So now I can put the girls in their respective backgrounds.

Good to contact w you again.

Hi BA7. Before I continue on, do you have any feedback on my reading?
