this is a quick, fun epistolary novel about the fate of a governess :)

Cloud and silver
by Lucas, E. V. (Edward Verrall), 1868-1938

this is a kind of strangely constructed book, with first a compelling ww1 story, then a number of essays, then another two short stories. all the contents of this book are very interesting, but i might pull the book apart into two or more projects :)
