I would very much like to do Section 11, Fort Hudson. My maternal grandfather, Harrison Phillips, was an infantryman in the 114th Regiment, New York Volunteers, which fought in the battle of Fort Hudson. The Regimental Assistant Surgeon wrote a Record of the Regiment after the war and about my grandfather he wrote: "In every battle and skirmish, and never wounded."

Very nice, I love it when someone comes along and has a connection in this project! I have had a couple of them so far, and it adds so much more to the project. Thanks Shasta, section 11 is yours!
