Good to know about the glossary page. Interesting question about the forum symbols, I never paid much attention to them before. Looks like phpBB has some support and documents, perhaps they can be found there. Looks like Carolin gave some explanation of them in your forum question, maybe that will help, too. Let me know if there's anything more I can explain about anything LV.

There's not really any strict rules about what to say. As long as what you say follows the rules laid out in the first post, it should be fine. Having said that, here's what I would expect.

This one really doesn't matter. Just say it how you would normally say a date.

The section title is technically "The Egg Tombola; Stories of Dogs", but during the intro, just say “The Egg Tombola“.

I see what you mean, but so far no-one else has done that, so I don't think you need to.

It means 'Claimed on July 4'. It's so that we can easily see how long it's been since you claimed your section (as we don't want sections to stay claimed but unrecorded for long periods).

I'd recommend listening to previous issues, so you can see how other people dealt with things like multiple parts per section.

Very good for a first recording! You seem to have applied those tool correctly, as I didn't hear any clicking or other noise.

I do have one note, however:

3:57: I'm hearing 'scarily' rather than 'scarcely'

Hi Vicki,

There's a page on the Wiki all about how to improve recording.

However, most of the things listed are not a problem in your recording. I suppose there is a bit of a plosive problem at times. Listen to the 'th' of 'thirteenth' at 0:06 or the 'p' of 'public' at 0:13.
