Hello Lynda,
Sections 2, 5, 7, 10 and 12 are all spot check PL OK.

Something you might want to do in processing is some noise cleaning. A couple of these sections where flagged for high levels of background noise. Also, please try and keep the ending silence just as ambient noise with minimum mouth/breath noise.

Hi Linny - I use the Noise Reduction in Audacity when I do my recordings - how to you tell that there are high levels of background noise? I am not aware of a checker that shows that... You are the first person to mention this after about 180 recordings... If you could point me towards how you check that it would be much appreciated!

Hi,
The Checker we use around here can be found through this thread: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=36489

Maybe you just forgot to clean a couple of the sections. I could tell visually as well as by ear. If you think you did noiseclean them you might consider reviewing to make sure your steps are correct. Here are a couple of videos I find helpful. http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Instructional_Videos#Noise_Removal

Hi,

Could you please sign me up for slot 30? This is my first recording here and I'd like to be listed under Susan Feliciano.

Thanks!
