Omg lol I hadn't read the text before I volunteered, there are so many words here I can't pronounce
Is there a key for that? Because most of these are names and I'm Googling the pronunciation of these names, but I want it to be consistent throughout the recording so people don't get confused between speakers. There are just SO many scientists and theories that have difficult/unfamiliar names that I don't wanna screw up for listeners.
Sorry if this is a stupid question! Just want to do it right... :help:

(first time since I was a kid that I've ever had trouble reading something out loud ... :S )

I don't have a guide, for words that are not names, I use http://www.dictionary.com as a help in pronunciation. For the names, I'm not that worried about it, so just do the best that you can. This is definitely a meaty text, but we are not recording this for the science and for the use of universities but mostly for entertainment and preserving these old texts in audio form. How one person pronounces a word could be different, and correct, for another person who speaks English. I normally don't correct a person's pronunciation, unless they ask for it, or it is a place name that is waaay off. But, like I said, just do the best you can...and don't worry about it!

OK, I am going to do something that I rarely do in my own group projects! I can't help myself, but I am going to claim sections 19 and 20 for myself! Ha!

I am getting the house to myself less often then I used to (I can't record when anyone else is is, you can hear them banging doors!) so this might take me a little longer to get to but I will do my best.
