I know that I'm probably too new a poster to get much response on this but I'm a super proud aunty and I'm just busting to show everyone how adorable he is.

Very adorable indeed !!

Which makes me think... Perhaps here or on a separate string we could establish an off-topic string where all of us who choose could post pictures of our children, selves, major events etc....

I'm often curious if my mental image of L.V. co-workers even remotely matches their real appearance. Laura :D

Just remember that this is a public forum, indexed by Google ... so don't put anything up you don't want Very Public Indeed. :D

rent, he's a very handsome little chap! The socks are just adorable -- he's going to grow into, then out of, them in no time.
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

Oh my gosh, I already have visions of tonka trunks and tricycles and then 10 speeds and real sized cars floating through my head. Not to mention the thought of him getting into all the trouble in college that my brother got into! I think it'd be less real if he weren't here causing mass chaos in the house, but every time he gives me those huge innocent eyes I can just see flashes of the future when he's an adorably older and giving me the same eyes after something flies through a window.

I know I'm just an aunt, but I think I'm getting Parentitis. :help:

Got some more pics of Valen and co so I'll throw em up here

Here's one of the boys, the new son, the son's dad, and the dad's dad. It's amazing to me still to see three generations here.

My mom and dad totally diggin' on being grandma and grandpa

And the last one with Valen stating the obvious in stylish frogs. My mom bought him that and got him all gussied up.

Haha, "my aunt loves me." Very cute!

I can't wait for my brother and his wife to have children. I'm told they won't be allowed to visit Aunty Bec very often because I'd spoil them :P

And I'm sure Valen will always be a good little boy ;)

I hope so! I'm waiting a little while to let my brother get used to daddy life before I start to spoil. ;) Oh all the ways and noisy toys that I can get my hands on to get back at him for years of pestering.

Hey Rent,
Cute nephew. Congrats to the new parents and associated family. Thanks for sharing with the community here at LV.

P.S. the site linked to in your sig is nice. I had a similar idea but couldn't get the logistics worked out quite right. Hope fully ReWritten will ReWritten will gain the kind of momentum and support that LV has.
