You're right Sonia, I should have known better. I honestly have no idea why I said marquise in the first place. :?:

I have corrected the voice credit and re-uploaded the file. Thanks so much for your diligence!

I'll get the names added. I never know with the DP whether the voice credits that are given by the readers are what is going to be used or not.

I suppose I should always err on the side of recording too much and having parts cut instead of not reading enough and having to do it again. Or better yet, ask first. LOL :)

oh so that's what you sound like, I was already curious :)

I think you have the butlering business perfected down to a T. All your lines correctly read and with the needed emphasis to make it lively enough.

I can mark this one PL ok but you forgot to include your voice credit in the beginning. As you still have another Act to hand in, could you make sure to include it in that file, please ?

Say: "Basque, servant to Celimene, read by Paul" (or however you want to be credited) To be on the safe side I made a little note in the MW

thanks

oh I see here is someone in dire need to be relieved of her "angst", so here goes, my feedback:

oooh Eva, can you be any more dripping with hypocrisy and malice and spite like in your first big advice to Célimène ? 8-) You portray her so exquisitely disagreeable which is probably exactly how Molière wished her to be  And in the final Act when she is snubbed by Alceste, your indignant outrage is really convincingly played out. She is the stereotype "bitch" LOL

Thanks for taking on this role ! I'm glad you were not put off to play the part of the "nasty woman" and it paid totally off, as you played it to perfection. A big win for this stage play. :9:

Only one small note: in Act 5 at 1:08: "...but this gentleman [pointing to Alceste], who has staked...: you forgot sufficient editing space to insert the stage directions here, but as this was the only "error" I quickly inserted the space myself and reuploaded. See it as a little bonus for the great performance :)

Both Acts PL ok

I hope your apprehensions have now been replaced by a warm snuggly feeling in your belly, knowing you have done well. :D

Ah, great news Sonia :9:

Yes, I think Arsinoe + Celimene is "peak violence" in this play. Arsinoe may be nasty, but she's not boring, that's the main thing. :D
