After uploading Section 24 last night I realized that I neglected to include the bit about Mill being the author and Laughlin the abridger. Here is a corrected version.

I'm relieved that I don't have to learn this stuff. :hmm: I prefer Mill's Essay on Liberty.

Thanks Shasta! (Economics was not my thing either. I had to take Economics twice in college because the the first time bored me into flunking the class.)

Do you mean that you are claiming section 14 to read? If that is it, then it is yours, thank you! Let me know if that is what you are wanting to do! (Just so you know, to PL a section means that you are proof listening the section. We have a lot of initials, you will learn them quickly!)

Quick question regarding sections that don't contain "please read the tables as best you can" - does this mean you want tables ignored in other sections containing them, such as the table comparison of Census results in Book 1, Chapter V?

No, I would like for you to read them in your recording, but not to worry too much about getting it right. Tables can be hard to read since they are meant for looking at and comparing the data. Since the book uses the tables as a part of the text, we can't really just leave them out. But, just do the best you can with it, I have not "failed" anyone that has read them.

ETA: OK, I was trying to do too many things at the same time. Since I don't have "please read the tables as best you can," no, you do not need to read them. Sorry! You are correct, that Census table, and the graph in book 1 chapter 7 do not need to be described, that would be way too much to do.
