"PL notes for chapter 2

2:42 There were several other passed mates in the berth, and two assistant-surgeons—one of them old enough to be the father of any of the youngsters—and a second master and a master’s assistant, and the captain and purser’s clerks, and three or four other midshipmen of various ages.
I hear pursuers

3:07 The fathers of some present were of high rank, and they had been accustomed to all the luxuries wealth can give, while others were the sons of poor men, officers in the army and navy, who had little beyond their pay on which to depend.
I hear way"

Hello Carolin,

Do I have to re-record for those two mispronounced words above or can I pass with a warning?

Thanks,
Ron

PS: Much thanks to the PL. I appreciate the input. Very attentive listening!

If you are ok with it, we can mark this ok under standard pl. Some readers are quite perfectionists so our dpls add those, but it isnt absolutely necessary to edit :) ill mark this section pl ok then. Thanks!

I have been away for awhile and hope I haven't lost my know how.
Anyway this story reminds me of my life on a Destroyer and some of the duties I had to do.
The torpedo runs and dept charges and of course the abandon ship as well. It was exciting.
Thank God it wasn't war time.

Hello Carolin and Linny

Thanks so much for the feedback! I completed the revisions and uploaded. All except the revision on forecastle. if possible i will note that for future reference. Serves me right for not being nautical. :P
I must say that editing was more painstaking than the actual recording, but i learned a few things that should make it easier in the future. Phil Chenevert is great, but he makes that look and sound really easy.

Hello Tim,
Section 9 is spot check PL OK! GREAT editing and leveling job.

Editing indeed takes more work than the actual reading. I love Phil's videos too, and you are right he makes it look really easy. I can tell you that with frequency it does become easier...and faster.

Hello. I would like to sign up for Section 10 Again United, if a new volunteer is okay.

I am a newbie to LibriVox but just had my one minute test approved.

My name should appear as Don Will in the catalog.

Thanks!!
