Toeknee,
I'm sorry. I realize you prefer to update the MW but I'm beginning to get confused by all of the activity in the last week so I'm going to update it.

I just noticed that Section 29 is still showing up as one of my assigned sections. I went back through this thread and found the following posts from back on January 12th, about some typographical errors in the text. If I should go back and change my recording to match the text, I can do that. Please let me know if that's the reason for the problem, or if it's some other error that I've overlooked.

https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/geneva_conventions_1949_29_icrc_128kb.mp3

There appeared to be some obvious typographical errors in the text, where the marginal "titles" were listed in the wrong places for Articles 144, 145, 146, and 147. Which title went with which article was clearly mixed up. Article 144 discussed "disseminating the text of the convention as widely as possible", but the marginal gloss was called "II: Grave Breaches", and should have gone with Article 147, which was a list of circumstances constituting grave breaches, while Article 144's title "Dissemination of the Convention" was attached to Article 145, which was actually about Translations, Etc...

I took the liberty of correcting the mixup in my reading. I hope this falls within the acceptable area of "correcting obvious typos", and is allowable. But if you would prefer the titles to be read as written, (even though utterly confusing that way!), I'll do a cut/paste to put them back in that order.

Section 29 is PL ok as it is but let's wait to hear from Toeknee on if your modifications are ok.

Commonsparrow, yes those modifications are ok!
I'll pass on an email to the red cross just citing those errors, so hopefully they can be edited sometime soon :D

Section 19
Don't hate the messenger...

The corrections are fine however something went wrong when you exported.

The bit rate is showing as ~79 kbps and variable. We need 128kbps and constant.

Hey Linny,

Sorry I haven't been updating the MW!
Unfortunately the email notification system wasn't working...
I hope we're back ontop of it now?

Thanks
Tony

If you don't respond to an email by visiting the thread, then it doesn't send another. I don't know if this is the only cause , just know it is one of them . Do you want me to send a PM if you don't respond in 24 hours, 48 hours or what if I notice ?

Ah... possibly!
but a 24-48 hour pm would be most useful!

Thanks so much

Third time worked like a charm. Section 19 is spot check PL OK!

Hello Tony,
I'm glad it was only a technical issue which kept you away. Yes, with the exception of section 19 the MW should be all up to date. :)

Hey everyone,

Just an FYI that I'll be away on an ecology trip in Northern Queensland Aus.
Actually.... I already am!

There's no reception here, so I won't be able to do much sadly.

Hopefully you'll be all well and good!

Hey Everyone,

I'm back.
Looks like not much happened in the interval though...
Whichever the case, hopefully I won't be disappearing again anytime soon.
