ha, that list was longer than anticipated. but i dont accept any complaints this year that there isnt enough material!

please note that i have not looked too closely at each text.

any admin can delete a post if the suggestion was adopted or else if i just didnt see the project.

some of the texts are actually short stories that might fit into the next christmas collection rather than becoming an individual project :)

The rich little poor boy
by Ure, Olive Emma de Gonville, 1876-

this is the story of bobby who went sledding down the hill when the train came, and he got hit by the train and was crippled. but when the neighbors kid says hes going sledding five minutes before the four oclock train should pass there, bobby is determined that he wont let the neighbors kid be struck by the same train too, and becomes a little hero :)

it is adorable.

The snow-drop : a birthday story for Jessie Percy Butler Duncan, February 9th, 1865
by Duncan, W. B; D., A. B

not quite a christmas story but it begins in christmas time and fits beautifully into the season.

There are two Christmas short stories in this collection that have not yet been read. They are “SUSIE ROLLIFFE'S CHRISTMAS” and “CHRISTMAS EVE IN WAR TIMES” in this collection:

Taken Alive by Edward P. Roe

I don’t think I will be getting to them this year, but someone might like to. :D

Hello, I have a certain Charles Dickens book in mind it is titled The Chimes.
Only 4 chapters though wc for the book is roughly 29,769.00
Not knowing just where on LV it might go imagine my joy when I noticed this thread.
I am willing to record this and I await your reply as to where it should go once I do, if not on this thread. I have attached the book's info below. I see that the book is on Guttenberg.

It will be a nice solo version of 4-5 hours, judging from the version we already have:

I was not able to see that the chimes has already been recorded. Thank you for that info & now I will gracefully withdraw the recording of the chimes from my recording possibilities.
Honestly appreciate it,
April
