I was just over at your Catholic Books website, I like that I can get all the titles in a simple list, but it's wonderful in many ways. It made me want to do some more of these. How about
47, 48, 49, 75, 76, 78, 79, 81, 82, 88, 89, 90, 91
do I get a case price for a dozen?

Michelle

PS, so interesting that Phil is doing Francis de Sales at the same time. Happy Lent.

Thank you, Michelle!

48 is PL OK, but 47 ends at around 2:10 and has over 4 minutes of silence at the end. :-) If you could fix that and reupload, that would be great!

Thanks!

letter 47

It's amazing how many different problems I've been able to experience with the same activity over the years! Somehow I had uploaded track twice, separated by a stretch of nothing.

Letter 75 begins with "I have just received your letter, and as we are on the point of starting for Orleans I can neither give my answer the attention the matter deserves, [Pg 177]God with His wonted goodness will make up for my deficiencies." I'm recording it as written, but 'I can neither' seems like a typo. Let me know if you want me to change it to 'not' or something else.

Maria, I just looked at the scanned image on the Internet Archive and it should be:
I can neither give my answer the attention the matter deserves, nor go into it as fully as may be necessary. But God with his wonted goodness...
I'll record it both ways, so you can have a choice and when I get a chance, I'll notify Project Gutenberg.

Michelle

Sorry for the librarianismishness, it's kinda like ocd, but in alphabetical order.

Hi Michelle,

It happens! :-) 47 is now PL OK!

As for the other issue, go with what the scan says. If I am not sure of something I will try to track down a scan as well, as that will be the accurate version! Thanks for catching it and finding the correct phrasing!

I would be very happy to take 107-110. It's been more than a decade since I last contributed and think some saintly reading will be a good way to dive back in!

Hi Ken,

Welcome back! 11 years ~ wow! :-).

I would suggest since it has been so long, that you might want to do a 1 minute test first just to double check your settings, etc.. I don't even know if the 1 minute test was a thing ten years ago ~ a few years before my time here!

Or, since these sections are generally so short, if you prefer, you can just record one and submit it, and I can check over the technical aspects before you move onto the others. Either way is fine.

I've assigned you the requested sections! Have fun, and if you have any questions, let me know!
