Here is Chapter 4 with the tweaking you suggested. I have no idea how you came up with those numbers in the compressor area, but hopefully they will do the trick.
Thank you, section 4 is PL OK after spot-check! Hehe, I have no idea where those numbers came from either, but probably from one of Phil's videos :)

Let me know how this comes out.

Thanks. Deb
Sure, that all makes sense :)

Woo hoo.

The Trail is clean.

If you would like me to take another chapter, I will. I am attempting to record a chapter of Red Cross every day or so. I enjoy the Trail, too though and would not have an issue against helping out there while learning the ins and outs of the technicalities of making it good on a consistent basis.

Thanks so much for helping me get such a positive charge with these projects. I've been wanting to learn how to record quality from home.

Here is section 05 with a volume of 88.9, better after compressing the file.
Thank you for the information as it did help significantly.

Oh, no worries, thank you for all your work! I'm just sitting here :) I think you should do whatever is most meaningful to you. If you'd like to record more for this book, you should claim and record more, but if you'd rather concentrate on your solo, you should do that. Some people like to knuckle down and (only) do solos, others prefer to do only group projects, others again do a little bit of each (I fall in that last category myself, though I am a sporadic recorder at best).
