the other day I came across this surprising little page: https://www.goodreads.com/reader/5688-night-and-day
it's all the files of knotyouraveragejo's solo of Virgina Woolf's Night and Day. it looks like they were taken from the Archive.org page or Project Gutenberg maybe...

are there other LV recordings on goodreads? do people know they can access the free audiobooks there? or is this just an odd little aberration that somehow happened?
I went back to the main goodreads site and tried to figure out how to click through to this same page of audiofiles, but all I could find was this LV edition listed: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13100944-night-and-day

I suppose it is a silly and mostly pointless internet mystery, but I always get so curious about how things end up where they end up, and why.

I ended up looking around at this in the first place because I noticed on the Gutenberg site where LV files are linked up with the books there, there is this "Librivox Audio Recording Public Domain Certification" attached. I had never ever seen that before, and that made me curious too! is that certification something LV came up with, or does Project Gutenberg require it to be there for their purposes, or what? does anyone have any background on that?

Some goodread books have a LibriVox edition added, especially some of our plays.

I am not a member, so I cannot tell you how this is done or who's doing it though. And if there's a direct link to our pages.

The listing of the LV audiobook edition does link to the book's catalogue page here. but the weird page (https://www.goodreads.com/reader/5688-night-and-day) with all the audiofiles linked doesn't. those links look like they are hosted on goodreads.com, but when I click on them it turns out they are all broken. so strange...
