Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics by Immanuel Kant (1724 - 1804). Translated by Paul Carus (1852 - 1919)
This is an abandoned solo now opened to the group.
Kant's Prolegomena, although a small book, is indubitably the most important of his writings. It furnishes us with a key to his main work, The Critique of Pure Reason; in fact, it is an extract containing all the salient ideas of Kant's system. It approaches the subject in the simplest and most direct way, and is therefore best adapted as an introduction into his philosophy. (Publisher's preface)
This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/prolegomena-to-any-future-metaphysics-by-immanuel-kant/
- Text source (only read from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/52821
- Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

The MW looks great, Nathan. I will leave you on the launchpad a bit longer to help find a proof listener.

alg1001, is there a way I can make it so that the sections in the magic window start with 1 instead of 0?

It automatically creates 0 as the section for a preface. You can just say "preface" instead of Section 0 for the intro to that section. I am not sure if I can delete Section 0. Let me know if that will work for you. If not, I can give it a try.

This one is open for takers, right?
I would like to take sections 0 and 1 - the Publisher's Preface and Introduction.
Kristine

Keep your mind here and now, where it belongs.

Thanks for this. I was really waiting to start a project on Kant myself.

I'm happy to see one already set up. I would like to claim section 2 as well as 6, 7 and 8.
