Yes, we do accept multiple recordings. We like to offer a 'choice of voice'...

Section 4 PL Notes

@ 0:20 omitted (A Nightmare) and '1'

@ 7:06 vouchsafed to
omitted 'to' from phrase
so often vouchsafed to me,
and mispronounced 'vouchsafed'. It is said vouch (rhymes with ouch) and safed (as in safety) This occurs again @21:42

(Although we are asked not to comment on pronunciation, in this instance I feel I should because if I wasn't reading along I wouldn't have understood.)

@18:32 omitted '3'

@ 22:59 omitted '4'

@32:43 omitted '5'

@35:29 omitted ' Laidlaw continued,'

@36:32 omitted '6'

@38:35 I hear 'experiments' where text reads 'specimens' in phrase
“Oh, my specimens!”

Thanks Bart, I understand that. The main question though, was is it actually PD or not, having been published in 1926?

Sorry, I missed that.
Yes it seems the story is not PD. When I have time, I'll delete the version in collection 26 too.
Pity though...

Ok, thanks for those and sorry. On the numbers, chapter 1, part 1, or just 1? What would you suggest?

dg73,
I try to choose the simplest route...I'd say just the number.

This should be better than my last attempt.

Note: I realized I had only 5 seconds at the end. This has 10.

Section 4 PL Note

@21:36 omitted sentence

He held himself under fine control, facing silently and without complaint the terrible facts he honestly believed himself to have been unfortunate enough to discover.

Yes :)

Bart,
I put the edited version in the MW but it won't play when I click on 'listen'. (I listened by right clicking on it and opening in a new tab). I don't have any idea of what is wrong and will not mark MW until it works correctly.

No apology necessary. If all were perfect, I would be unnecessary here!

Here's my contribution:

https://librivox.org/uploads/bart/untoldsequel_little_cw_128kb.mp3 [41:53]

Title: The Untold Sequel to the Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Author: Frances H. Little
Source: https://archive.org/details/untoldsequelstr00littgoog
Publication: 1890

Yes, this is essentially the equivalent of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde fanfiction. It's... uh, kinda goofy. Little bends over backwards trying to (over-)explain and rationalize every single fantastical element from the original book. I was actually holding off on posting this, since I have some minor issues with my reading. Buuuuut... whatever. Here it is.
PROJECTS
Current Solo:Septimius Felton (Hawthorne's final novel)
Help Needed: Strange Interlude (O'Neill's Freudian melodrama - roles available!)

Section 5 PL Notes

@12:01 I hear "doctor' where text reads 'lawyer' in phrase

"One word," said the lawyer.

@ 14:47 omitted 'the house' from phrase
From the time he had left the house in Soho,

@ the end, There are only 5 seconds of silence, 10 seconds of silence is needed for files over 30 minutes.

Max :)
