PL Notes for section 11
The reading is great just some edits needed please
If you can edit and reupload using the same filename that would be great
1. There should be between 0.5 and 1 second at the beginning of the file it is currently longer than this
2. Bit rate needs to be 128 kbps
3. The volume needs amplifying to around 89dB it is currently 84db
There's a small program the spouse of a LibriVoxer developed to check the tech settings. You can download it and use it to check the volume and other settings. It's here: http://cgjennings.ca/checker/index.html
Use the latest version, which I believe is 0.96. The volume information is in the Information tab. We aim for 89 dB, but anything between about 87 and 91 is good.
If you need any help with these please let me know

Also, if section 17 is still open I would be happy to record it, I like these stories, they are fun, and since they are in nature- they don't seem as dated as I had thought.

i suppose in some aspects they would be dated - but in essence they are just adventure stories, and i guess we still find exciting now what people found exciting back then
