COMPLETE Fireside Chats of Franklin Delano Roosevelt -mas
Hi MaryAnn.
Thanks for your further note regarding the PD status of the extra sections. As you have suggested, I removed those sections, taking the title out and marking them as PL OK. I actually also moved them to the bottom of the list so we wouldn't have gaps in our stated section numbers when readers are reading them in their intros and outros. There weren't very many claimed section numbers to be affected by this, so I PM'd those people (BettyB, silverquill, taylcc) who were affected by the renumbering and/or the eliminated sections. I also noted in the Notes field which claimed sections had previously been a different section number. For our records in case I get confused later, here's the list of change to section numbers on claimed sections is as follows:
Section 16 ---is now---> Section 15
Section 20 ---is now---> Section 18
Section 21 ---is now---> Section 19
Section 32 ---is now---> Section 29
I think that we're squared away but please let me know if I forgot anything (or messed up anything). Thank you!
Jill

He has a very direct, simple, and cheerful way of explaining a difficult topic, very reassuring at an anxious time. No wonder his chats made my grandparents feel calmer and safer! They had a picture of FDR framed on the wall of their house.
