Thank you, ILOVECOWSLC. What is the duration of your chapter? Without the duration, the proof listener cannot know how much time to dedicate to it. Please avoid posting chapters without durations in future. As you enjoyed the book, would you like to record more chapters from it?
Stav.

LC, there are some technical issues with your upload:
  • The file you upload should have been named flyinggirl_11_baum_128kb.mp3
  • Your file was stereo, not the mono LibriVox wants. (Your bit rate is correct.)
  • The volume is low - 73.2 - not in the 86 to 92 range LibriVox wants. That's quite a bit low - I had to crank the volume all the way up when I was prooflistening.
The 'Checker' program can help you find these things before you send in your file -- it's very useful.

I also found a couple LibriVox conventions you're not following:
  • At the beginning of your chapter you should have read
Chapter 11 of The Flying Girl. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org. Recording by LC. The Flying Girl, by L. Frank Baum. Chapter 11.
  • The silent pause at the end of your recording was around 1 second and not the 5 seconds that's recommended. (Your ending, End of Chapter 11, is the right wording.)
