I've recorded all the parts that have 1 or 2 lines. A couple are in the same chapter as Don Carlos, but I think I made the voices distinctive enough.
Use the ones you want, toss the rest.
Thanks! I'll take all but the Servant. I think your voice is too distinct to have two characters in the same chapter. I don't think it'll be TOO hard to fill some of those slots, especially if I decide to let the women into these roles.
and could I ask a favor? Could someone please PL it ASAP? Reason is, something weird happened to Audacity on my computer over the weekend & I had to reset ALL the technical specs.
Just want to make sure it's all back to normal before I record any more. THANKS!

I did a very quick spot check, and it's OK. I'll check it to the text later.
Hi, Tricia! There aren't any female roles left, are there? Would it be alright I took one of the teeny roles, like Servant with two lines...? (I understand if the answer is "no.")
At this point I'm going to say no. The servant line says "he said", so it's a male. Perhaps when we're a year into this project and not enough men have stepped up, I'll open up some parts to females. But not so early in the project.
Just a quick text correction - I'm working on Chapter 19, and noticed a sentence that sounded a little funny:
"So Don Diego went from the house and walked slowly up thought of coming to combat with such a man."
I looked it up online and found that there is an important line of text missing from this version. The entire paragraph should read as follows:
"So Don Diego went from the house and walked slowly up the hill toward the presidio building.
Captain Ramon observed his approach, and wondered at it, and snarled at the thought of coming
to combat with such a man."
Here's a link to the Google Books version I found which had the correct text:
