I'm sorry about the delay; I've been recording the phoenix in the DR of The Phoenix and the Carpet.

I've uploaded section 7.

Section 9 uploaded.

I've recorded using the errata (affecting text page 56 / PDF page 71):

At 36.24 "Total capital £23775" followed by "Very nearly 24,000 l. ..." - about a third of the way down column 1.
At 37.19 "Hire of 3.000 barrows ... £9750"
At 37.39 "Hire of 1000 baskets ... 130"
At 37.57 "Total paid for hire ... £17,400"

EDIT: I forgot to say that there seems to be a missing quotation mark (that is, I stop my pseudo-cockney voice and return to narrator voice), on text page 54/PDF page 69, about half way down the right column: ".... If people have dinner parties they must have fish, and gentlemen's servants came to buy." .. that last quotation mark.

The next section starts at "On the providence and improvidence of costermongers" in column 2 on text page 56/PDF 71.

My apologies; I got the last two page references wrong in that last post; I've corrected them now.

Hi Peter,

one small repeat in Section 10:

20:48 - This, as I have stated, is... is never done.

Happy holidays! :)

Section 11 uploaded. I'm putting five seconds of silence at the end from now on.

It starts on text page 61/PDF 76 - Of the Street-sellers of fish

I've included some errata, and have placed a couple of footnotes (all for the table on PDF page 78/text page 63):

08.58 in Haddock, 5,040,000 corrected to 4,940,000
11.45 in Bloaters, 147,000,000 corrected to 49,750,000
12.20 in Dried sprats: footnote asterisked after "Description of fish" has been voiced at the end of the line, after "proportion sold by costermongers."
13.26 in Whelks: footnote marked in "weight or measure of fish" has been moved to just before the heading "Whelks".
13.42 in Whelks, 24,300 corrected to 22,067
14.05 in Cockles, 32,400 corrected to 33,696

EDIT: I realised when I was checking just now that I simply called them "notes" in the recording, rather than "footnotes". I don't think it's worth changing.

Next section starts with "Of the forestalling of markets and the Billingsgate bummarees", pdf page 82 / text page 67
