I have some things to discuss regarding Chapter 33

page 209 reads,

"continue making rows in this way, increasing as shown in the diagram below"

the diagram is

row 2 2dc 1dc
row 3 2dc 1dc 1dc
row 4 2dc 1dc 1dc 1dc
... etc to row 10

I can't leave out mentioning the diagram like we did in other areas but it's cumbersome to read and would be both boring and confusing to listen to. So, I read it as, "continue making rows in this way, increasing to row 10"

(as a knitter this makes more sense but it may not be acceptable to take that much liberty with the text )

If that is not acceptable please let me know and I'll rerecord that section with the table/chart in.

Also; on page 211 there is an * beside the pattern title and a note at the bottom of the page. Since the note is connected to the title and really makes little sense plunked in at the bottom of the page, I read it just after reading the title. If you would rather have it at the bottom of the page I will rerecord that and adjust that.

Please let me know. Thanks Molly

ETA: I made the decision to go back and record it true to the original and included the table/chart.

Hi Molly, sorry for the lack of response, I was out of town for Thanksgiving. I think in the situation you encountered, the choice is either to read the diagram or leave it out entirely - the original change you made to the text is probably too much of a liberty with the author's words. (I know it's kind of silly because it would make more sense to the listener, but for Librivox we really try to record exactly as written.) I think the version with the diagram read out will be fine.

Thanks so much! I'm putting your segments in the MW right now.
