Thanks! :)

Thank you! :)
Peter and Twinkle, do you mind if I take a clip of your first LV sections and put it next to your experiences?

Be my guest.

Wonderful! :)
I'm thinking of a release date of Dec 5th, maybe, if I can have enough segments by the deadline. :)

How many do you need? (Might add it to my signature.)

As a minimum maybe somewhere around 4, I'm hoping for 8 or more, though. :)
If the podcast is really short I can fill it in with things like statistics, new releases, things like that. If you have BC'ed or done a solo that was released in the last 4 months, you can advertise it here, too. :)

And yes, that would be wonderful to put it in your signature.
ETA - Looks nice!

Aw, thank you! :) I'll consider putting together an advertisement for Under the Lilacs... Just not sure what I'd say. :hmm:

Oh, and I like the idea of including our first recordings, plus the new versions of them. :) What a coincidence that the three people who did that side-by-side first recording thing are the ones contributing to the podcast!! Hm, now we just need to get Aaron over here, since he did one, too. Maybe I'll PM him...

Yes, I'm not making it a requirement to do that, however. For myself I'm going to include a recent poem I've done instead of re-recording the original section.

As for Under the Lilacs, why not just read the description, and a couple of notes to it if you like, and maybe part of the Dramatis Personae would work as part of the promo? :)

Thanks for the ideas! :) Yeah, I'll probably be able to throw something together like that.

Oh, whoops! Heh heh, well there's another coincidence...
Yay!!
Well, other people may have other ideas, but in a podcast you just say, "Hi, I'm so-and-so, and here's my little story to tell..." Hm, doesn't sound very interesting, does it? :hmm: Well, I don't know what Peter or Kangaroo talked about/will talk about in their segments, but I just did a little rambling about how I stumbled across LibriVox, what the first role I ever read was, the mishaps of unexperienced recording, and then how I got a lil' carried away claiming the characters in that DR. Just fun, embarrassing stuff like that. :)

EDIT: Oops! Not to say that the podcast won't be interesting!! Just my strange way of explaining what a podcast was made it sound less interesting...

Thank you Twinkle.
Yes, the theme for this podcast is your first..., like you could talk about your first section, your first project, things like that. :)

I haven't actually completed mine yet, but I will talk a little about my first project, Wilderness Ways, my first solo, Boy Scout Aviators, my first DR role in Around the World in Eighty Days, my first group project.

Let me know if anything needs to be adjusted.
