G'day
In a Solo it's fine just to post something like "section xx done" Some soloists paste the link some don't, whichever suits you both is fine by me. We tend to keep instructions as simple as possible for when people start so we issue an instruction that will work in all cases (if people read it )

I'm so excited to see someone recording this book! I haven't read it, so I'm going to wait until it's done. How's progress?

Hi Elizabby. I am the DPL on this project and have been wondering where Kirsty is. I see she hasn't posted to Librivox since her last post here on July 10th. I hope nothing has happened to her.Elizabby wrote:I'm so excited to see someone recording this book! I haven't read it, so I'm going to wait until it's done. How's progress?

Yes, I saw it has been exactly 6 months - it was one of the reasons I posted to the thread, to see if anyone would respond!

Anne might be able to tell us what is usually done is such a case. If you would like to take up the project I'd be more than happy to stay on as DPL.
Best,
Barbara

We have had a server problem viewtopic.php?f=12&t=62490
Any files and posts made in that time were lost. The MW shows the only files I have for this project - if any are missing you will need to reupload and post the links , If everything is fine could you just post so I can cross you off my list

Excellent. Now I'll find out what happened next.kirstyl wrote:Hello strangers!
I've just uploaded Chapter 19.
Many apologies for the extended silence. I'm now on track to finish this.
Cheers, Kirsty.

Hi Kirsty,
Great to meet the old gang at grandma's again.
mp3gain says Chapter 19 is 86.2 so I'll give it a PL OK when you've amplified it to match the other Chapters (i.e. to 89) as everything else is good.
Best,
Barbara
