Thank you... no shame if it's too challenging, though (but lifelong thanks if you pull it off )mzmolly65 wrote:I'm interested in tackling Chapter 23 *gulps*

Do you have a preference for reading abbreviations. Do you prefer them fully pronounced or can the abbreviation be read as letters.
Eg: the abbreviation Q.E.D means quod erat demonstrandum
I can read out "Q.E.D" or I can read out "quod erat demonstrandum"

I have no preference, although I think it probably varies by situation.mzmolly65 wrote:Do you have a preference for reading abbreviations. Do you prefer them fully pronounced or can the abbreviation be read as letters.

I don't know if anyone can help with this :
"As c is to r; so is psc⁄rr = GB by the 6 Prop. to ps⁄r GF"
Based on the sentence structure and previous formulas, my instinct is that ps/r = GF, otherwise it reads as "ps over r times GF"

I'm pretty sure it's ps/r times GF. I've got that in my section, too.
As c is proportional to r, so psc⁄rr (which = GB) is proportional (by the 6 Prop.) to ps⁄r times GF

I confess I did not edit while checking the text, so I might have edited to where it SOUNDS good but leaving something out.

I'd have never guessed that you had no clue. I certainly had no clue what you were reading, but you read it well!Availle wrote:Here is chapter 19/section 21, with a runtime of 22:49

To be honest, I have seldom read anything where I did not have a clue what was going on... (And that includes cold readings of dramatic roles)
At least, I have now learned what a syzygy is - should I ever need that again.
PL OK!
