Hi, I'm going to record Young Readers Science Fiction Stories by Elam and I'll preclaim the cover soon. It was published in 1957; I'm assuming projectgutenberg did their due diligence and decided that the book is public domain. I'd like to use some of the drawings by Victor Prezio for the cover.

Some info here: https://laststandonzombieisland.com/2015/04/19/combat-gallery-sunday-the-martial-art-of-victor-prezio/

Can we assume that the drawings are also in the public domain or should I look for something else? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

sorry to post in the middle of a conversation

I have uploaded this cover: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/chatterer_red_squirrel_burgess_1611.zip
for the project: https://librivox.org/the-adventures-of-chatterer-the-red-squirrel-by-thornton-w-burgess/

I have also a small question. Should this project not be called ....(version 2), as there is this previous version: https://librivox.org/the-adventures-of-chatterer-the-red-squirel-by-thornton-w-burgess/

Also, I have noted that there is a dramatic version: https://librivox.org/adventures-of-chatterer-by-thornton-w-burgess/

Cheers!!

I'm sorry, put Victor Prezio is not PD.
Sometimes it's allowed to use the complete book cover, but it's not allowed to use only part of the cover.
Sorry David,
