The Riverpark Rebellion by Homer Greene (1853 - 1940).

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: http://librivox.org/the-riverpark-rebellion-by-homer-greene/
A tale of the Riverpark Academy for cadets, in which there is growing discontent leading to a revolt against the academy's leaders. The rebellion takes the form of an unauthorized "holiday" in which a number of cadets leave the grounds for a some fun, including attending a circus. The story follows one cadet's descent into dishonor and disgrace, and how he strives to become an honorable boy again. ( Donald Cummings)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/46146
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hi Tricia,

Re: System rollback.

I reloaded Chapter 2, which (on or about Sept. 24) was uploaded to LV, PLed by lvictoria, and spot checked by my new DPL libraryanne. Can you replace the DPL ID in the system (at your leisure, since I'm sure you have a lot on your plate just now).

Thank you,
Don

Done!

My heaviest workload is over. Mostly what I have now is what trickles in as BCs and soloists login and update their projects. :)

Yep! And usually log in to LV at least once each day. Chapter 5 has been recorded, and is about 1/2 way through editing. Due to balancing RL, LV, and DP (for PG), I'm unfortunately not a rapid or mass reader <grin>.

ETA for Chapter 5 is about another week.
