I would like to claim sections:
20 ~ "The Sea-serpent"
57 ~ "Mr. Willow and the Locusts"
96 ~ "The Faithful Gander"
The text lengths are manageable and engaging for me,
and there isn't too much translation into chinese pronunctiation (just a little bit)
As well, I am confident enough in this process and the 2 month deadline that
it would be a pleasure to have these sections to do my very best with and an honor
to contribute to this project.
sincerely,
jftocanada

Per PM with Kim I will be taking over as DPL. I love these little stories.

Section 60 is PL ok. Offset and background noise are both ok. Nice progress!
Please note the file name should be strangestories2_060_pu.mp3 which is the section number and not 122 for the chapter number.
David, will you fix the file name for us or should it be re-uploaded with the correct name?

I just learned I may have mispronounced the character's name Mr. Kuo.
I used this website: https://chinesepod.com/tools/pronunciation/section/14
and read "koo oh",
but someone on Forvo just responded with "Khoo"

Don't worry - not even the Chinese pronounce their words correctly - it is a minefield.realisticspeakers wrote:I just learned I may have mispronounced the character's name Mr. Kuo.
