New Form of Managing M4B Production
M4B production will be managed via an online spreadsheet which can be found here.
How this process works ...
The sheet will contain a list of the projects that do not have M4B files associated with them. Carteki will update the sheet on a regular basis, but if there is a project you want to work on then please add it to the sheet.
You can see which files DO NOT have an M4B file associated with them +&sort=-publicdate]here.
To "claim" project write your username in the "Claim" column (B).
The Status column (D) shows what the status of the process is. The options are "cover o/s", "working on", "uploading", "finished" and "Linked".
Steps:
Cover o/s waiting for the cover for the project to be created.
Working on cover has been created and the file is being created
Uploading when the file is created it can take some time to upload. Please note the url of the upload location in column G.
Finished File(s) have finished uploading
Linked Files have been moved to the relevant project pages at Archive.org and Librivox.org. These projects can now be deleted from the list.
Once the M4B file is created and it is uploaded to a test collection at Archive.org an Admin member will link the M4B to the relevant project pages. Please give the location of the upload in column G.

Currently the sheet has various information and links that I (carteki) use in my process. If you have claimed a specific project please delete or insert what information on that line that you find relevant to you.

Errors / questions / special requests - please post below.

Thank you

I had an error (repeated line) reported to me in a project that was cataloged back in 2012. I have corrected the file and re-derived it up at Archive. The M4B should be replaced if someone here is of a mind: https://archive.org/details/confessions_arsene_lupin_1208_librivox

There's an error report on Archive , https://archive.org/details/shakespeare_sonnets_ch that the m4b file on the page is in fact the one for the group version - and it is
We probably need to check the other versions are right -

Anne

No we don't , the others are OK . We just need a new one labelled sonnets_ch from https://librivox.org/shakespeares-sonnets/

edit - I have deleted the incorrect one and the link

Ann,

Kim (carteki) has made a new m4b file for https://librivox.org/abraham-lincoln-a-history-volume-3-by-john-hay/ and this new file active for that project.

Miss Betsy Thoughtless, Volume 1 had some incorrect recordings that had to be replaced. That has been done so a new M4B needs to be made to replace the old one.

There was another mistake, so a new m4b file needs to be made. Sorry!
