Well, I don't know whether it's true for the whole of that rather vast country... I just returned from a visit to Moscow, and found that 'www.archive.org' is actively blocked by the government (according to some source I found on Google). Our site is available and reachable, and the books can still be downloaded using the links in our catalogue (the green 'Download' button works), but you won't be able to go to "Internet Archive Page" in any of our publications.
Weird, eh?
Did you know 'archive.org' is unavailable in Russia?

Not very weird, except perhaps that our recordings are still downloadable.

Archive has something for everyone, and some of those things are very offensive to some people. The three topics most incendiary -- sex, religion, and politics -- run the gamut of benign to obscene. Parents should be especially careful of what their kids have access to on that site.
