After listening to many books most recorded 7 or more years ago I would like to say how much I appreciate the efforts of so many people. I thank you many years after your original labor.

Dear LIBRIVOX volunteers: You have all made a significant difference in the quality of my life. Due to illness i have spent many 1000's of sleepless and painful hours over the past 6 yrs listening to audiobooks. You are all angels to me ? Blessings to each of you. You have brought me sanity, peace and grace when hope seemed almost at an end at times. Heartfelt Gratitude, beyond words

Praise received from our 'Thank a reader' feature: for the LV readers:
I am very grateful (much more than grateful, absolutley ecstatic) with the possibility of hearing and reading all kinds of books, beautifully read, and for free! I have heard and read three books this week: The Bishops Apron, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Jane Eyre.
Thank you to the readers and thank you to the project. You are really changing lives!

Hi. I just discovered your website and your "Children's Fiction" genre list of books. I just wanted to say thank you so much for recording such great classics for children such Aesop, Burgess, and especially the "My Bookhouse" book series. These are the kinds of stories and books I look for, and I look forward to letting my kids listen to them now thanks to your site.

Thank you!

If you're a child of 60's or 70's in the US that's a good chance that you remember the Scholastic Book Club. When a book arrived it was always a great day as I was a voracious reader. One of the very first of them I received was a collection of science fiction short stories I must have read 100 times.

Fast forward entirely too many years and I'm enjoying my lunchtime walk listening to the first of the Short Science Fiction Collections and up pops my favorite from that book from way back when, "Image of the Gods". It only took two sentences for me to recognize it.

I'm guessing the folks I walked past all wondered what I was smiling about.

Thank you Librivox volunteers for such a great gift.
Why yes there IS a blog about choral singing. Thanks for asking.

A thank you note received for all LibriVox readers!
I have listened to a handful of librivox recordings recently and it has just about saved my college career. I listen to my novels while I’m driving, it saves me a lot of time. I am an English major and this tool has been such a pleasure to use. Thank you guys for taking time to provide this service for people like me. One day, I’d love to do a reading/recording myself. I’d love to give back.
Thanks again,
Becky
