Hy there,

My name is Jim, I live in southern California, and I'm a grad student in English literature. Just got a USB mic for teaching online classes (...) so I thought I should put it to some kind of better use. Looking forward to it!

A big welcome Jim. This is a friendly place where we work together to record public domain stuff and have fun doing it. Let us know if anything is confusing or you need help of any kind. Check out our forums and ask questions.

Hello Jim :)
I can see that you've already recorded one section. Good  If you need help feel free to browse our wiki, watch the instructional videos Phil has recorded (link at the top of this forum section) or just post a question.
Btw. I also teach online and, like you, I studied the English literature (except English is not my native language).
